BizMantra is Nepal's local version of the SME Toolkit (www.smetoolkit.org) 

BizMantra is operated by Elite Networks and Communication Pvt. Ltd (www.elitenet.com.np). Elite Networks and Communication Pvt. Ltd. is a technology solution provider. Started in 1992, Elite Networks has specialized in structured cabling, system and network integration, wireless networking, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions and services.

South Asia Enterprise Development Facility (SEDF) is supporting BizMantra. SEDF (www.sedf.org) is a multi-donor funded facility promoted and managed by the International Finance Corporation, IFC, (private sector arm of the World Bank Group). Launched in October 2002 with it’s headquarter in Dhaka, SEDF is currently mandated to cover Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and Northeast India.

The SME Toolkit is a project of the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Department of the World Bank Group. The SME Department (www.ifc.org/sme) combines the market perspective of the International Finance Corporation with the policy expertise of the World Bank to promote local small business growth in developing nations. These merged capabilities create a powerful synergy and underscore a strategic commitment to improving lives by creating opportunities in small business. 

The mission of IFC (www.ifc.org), a member of the World Bank Group, is to promote sustainable private sector investment in developing countries as a way to reduce poverty and improve people's lives. IFC finances private sector investments in the developing world, mobilizes capital in the international financial markets, and provides technical assistance and advice to governments and businesses.
